Hey Moni Maker

Today, in 1987, IBM released its "DOS" Version 3.3 operating system. Oh, we want to write a platitude now… “30 years ago they released OS, and now bitcoins-altcoins-NFT” and so on. But time changes and Moni Talks follows it.

So just wish you to be flexible and follow the trends. The Digest will help you with that, Let's go!

Buterin would smash your f@ckin' head in!

Or Kunis and Kutcher!!!

Crypto Twitter was united in amusement when the hashtag #eth began to automatically show the Ethiopian flag as the Ethereum 'logo'.

Given Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s love of Bitcoin and the fact Bitcoin has its own Twitter icon many wondered if Dorsey was subtly trolling Ethereum (ETH). After all he’s a staunch Bitcoin (BTC) maximalist that has refused to consider buying into ETH and other altcoins on multiple occasions and has repeatedly stated that Bitcoin will become the internet’s native currency.

The Twitter and Square founder certainly saw the funny side of it, Tweeting “#eth” which drew the attention of the official Olympics account which said it was “great to see Jack and the crypto community supporting the #ETH athletes!”

In fact, the Ethiopian flag had nothing to do with Ethereum at all. The social media platform has been attaching flags to hashtags of nations competing in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. The promotion is part of a 'hashflags' campaign that the platform also did for the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro.

So what?

Thanks anyway, Dorsey, for the clickbait headlines! We wonder if Buterin will record some sort of video on this? For example, with Habib or Poirier…

Bitcoin is getting into tweeter!

No shitposting!

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey confirmed to investors that bitcoin will be a “big part” of the company’s future, as he sees opportunities to integrate the cryptocurrency into existing Twitter products and services, including commerce, subscriptions and other new additions like the Twitter Tip Jar and Super Follows.

Dorsey has been a staunch bitcoin advocate for years, but how it would be put into action on Twitter’s platform had not yet been spelled out in detail. However, Dorsey has often publicly touted the cryptocurrency, saying it reminds him of the “early days of the internet” and that there wasn’t “anything more important” in his lifetime for him to work on.

More recently, Dorsey launched a $23.6 million bitcoin fund with Jay Z and announced plans to lead his other company Square into the decentralized financial services market by way of bitcoin. Square also this year acquired a majority stake in Jay-Z’s TIDAL music service with an eye toward how blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies could change the music business.

So what?

We all need such plans and attitudes. For example, on the good news from The B Word conference, bitcoin rose by a couple of thousands.

Let's go IPO. I said let's go IPO!!!

Finally, lol.

Binance exchange CEO Changpeng Zhao told SCB 10x in an interview that Binance US aims to go public. And continued regulatory pressure on Binance is not stopping Binance US from an IPO.

CZ said the company's efforts to cooperate with regulators had not been its "strong suit," pointing to the urgent need to localize compliance communications.

Despite modest success in communicating with global regulators, Binance has not ruled out the possibility that Binance US could one day go public, as the exchange looks for ways to conduct an initial public offering (IPO).

So what?

Hey pundits, dive into a chat and tell us why Binance is only coming to this now?

Brian's ass is on fire!

Courts, Lawsuits

A Coinbase shareholder has filed a securities class action against Coinbase for allegedly misleading investors ahead of its public listing about the company’s financial state and resilience as a crypto trading platform.

Ramsey further alleges that once the alleged discrepancies between self-presentation and reality came to public light, Coinbase’s share price fell accordingly. Citing events in mid-May, when Coinbase conceded it needed to raise funds and announced plans to raise $1.25 billion through a convertible bond sale, Ramsey emphasizes that the company’s stock sharply declined by close to 10% over two trading sessions.

So what?

So, bald head, how will you answer? Your firm's been getting a lot of trouble from the courts lately... but it's a long way from CZ.
