It is a collection of 20,000 Mutant Ape. They are created either by injecting a serum into the BAYC or minting a MAYC during a public sale.

The team airdrop 10,000 serums to BAYC holders. Holders could then create MAYC by exposing their monkeys to this serum.

Interestingly, after the airdrop, these serums sold oh-so-expensive. One holder was offered 269 ETH.

That's not all! Every holder of Bored Ape and Mutant will receive a free 3D model that they can use in the Metaverse.

Mutants mark the end of the BAYC 1.0 roadmap. In the future, BAYC will carry utility and benefits for members only.
