The real world isn't enough for US retailer Walmart. They filed seven trademarks late last year to clarify their Napoleonic plans to wrap their goods in NFT and make a run for their metaverse. 

The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is interested in the NFT market, which has reached $44bn. 

What could be in store for collection creators? They could start taxing NFT mitning at a rate of 37%. And NFT investors will have to pay capital gains tax at 28% when these same investors sell their NFTs. We'll see where this story leads. 

Yesterday the Twitter streets were discussing the NFT collection on OpenSea by Irene Zhao. Yes, Irene is selling her collection with launchpad invites and pics of her. 

Hm…ugh…And we can add that the floor of the collection is almost 4 ETH. We won't comment on it, except to say that crypto is still the most unpredictable and predictable at the same time.

According to Instagram’s chief executive officer, Adam Mosseri, the platform is actively exploring NFTs and ways that it can make them more accessible to its burgeoning user base.

“Nothing to announce yet but we are definitely actively exploring NFTs and how we can make them more accessible to a broader audience.”
