As we know them, JPEGS is already hard to surprise us with anything. Cool pfp? Everyone has the same. Merch? Who's going to appreciate that in your noname city. Art-creativity-isn't-that-what-it-is? Nobody matters.

So there's an opinion that NFT 2.0 should have some quite tangible utility. The old jpegs are dead and will be reborn into new, valuable pictures with whistles and farts that you're not ashamed of! Or not. What do you think?

NFT and metaverses are still the only thing that has caught on with those damn normies. We still can not please them: we have DeFi with farming and smart contracts, and these normies want to collect pictures and play another Minecraft. We will not get any mass adoption with such moves.

But there is hope. If ppl love jpegs and metaverse, big brands also love jpegs and metaverse, as it happens. And since it's all crypto, let the wealthy uncle from Web2 with their Adidas and elderly Batman get involved in what they like, as long as money goes to the industry, and then we'll live. We wait!

The subpoenas will now find you on the blockchain too. A hacker stole $8,000,000 from a hot wallet belonging to LCX, a Liechtenstein-based fintech company. It hit the chaps hard and ended up freezing $1,300,000 USDC in the hacker's wallet, with the rest of the dough wanted by the blockchain hounds.

It happened with the approval of the New York prosecutor. An NFT has also been sent to the hacker's address with justification. It is said that this may have a positive effect on the state of affairs at NFT, which has been such a mess lately. Transaction volume in the ETH zone is down by 80%, mainly due to decreased interest in the jpegs, but there is hope, as already written above, so BUILD!
