Twitter and paid tweet

Blah-blah-blah, Mr. Musk came to Twitter and started changing it aggressively. Now, Twitter bloggers can divide their content between paid and free.

For example, a crypto influencer will now post free (regular) Twitter threads like "airdrop confirmed" to attract an audience, and in the paid section for paid subscribers, they will share early projects, alpha, gems, and so on.

The "Subscriptions" feature allows influencers to charge subscribers a monthly fee. After payment, subscribers access the creator's exclusive content, which is unavailable for public viewing.

There's also a commission involved - if your monthly earnings from subscriptions don't exceed $50,000, you'll be charged a 3% commission, but if it's more than that, the commission immediately increases to 20%. If paid through Apple Pay, the commission jumps to 30%. The commission will be lifted once you earn your first $50 from subscriptions.

To ensure these technically complex processes are in place, the social media giant has partnered with payment gateway Stripe to pay creators on Twitter.

To be able to make money from your subscribers, you need to be over 18 years old, have 500+ subscribers, and make 25+ tweets per month. Once these conditions are met, you'll have a corresponding badge in the social media menu.
