🇺🇸 The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) published a letter clarifying national banks' and federal savings associations' authority to provide cryptocurrency custody services for customers.

🇨🇳 China's state-backed Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN) has integrated with six public chains including Tezos, NEO, Nervos, EOS, IRISnet and Ethereum.

🇯🇵 The Bank of Japan said on Monday it has created a new team to look more closely into central bank digital currencies, taking a cue from heightening demand for cashless payments and growing moves by its global peers to eye issuance of such currencies.

🇷🇺 Russia has updated its crypto law. It’s not as strict as proposed earlier drafts but has rendered currencies like Bitcoin basically useless.

💳 The Visa payment company announced its intentions to focus on cryptocurrency and blockchain, while prioritizing stablecoins, CBDC and blockchain technologies. Visa plans to bridge the gap between cryptocurrencies and Visa's 61 million merchants. Payments giant PayPal is also said to have partnered with Paxos Crypto Brokerage to launch its crypto service. Another significant partnership includes Wirex and MasterCard, who have brought their efforts together to bring crypto one step closer to the mainstream.

👨‍⚖️ Cryptocurrency businesses are taking Google, Facebook, and Twitter to court in a class-action lawsuit that could cost the social media giants $300 billion.
