The official Twitter account for India's prime minister, Narendra Modi, was briefly taken over by hackers and used to promote a bitcoin giveaway scam. 

The fraudulent message in question said that India had declared bitcoin legal tender and was conducting a giveaway to celebrate the move.

Crypto exchange Coinbase has announced that customers in over 70 countries are able to earn yield with their crypto holdings through the world of decentralized finance (DeFi). 

“We are making DeFi more accessible, enabling eligible customers in more than 70 countries to access the attractive yields of DeFi lending on their DAI with no fees, lockups, or set-up hassle,” Coinbase said in a prepared statement.

– Metamask has announced Transaction (tx) Insight to provide more transparency into transaction details.

– MetaMask’s Transaction Insight feature appears in the middle of a transaction or your transaction history. 

– It decodes transaction data, which is frequently transmitted in the form of a blob of code.
