Gem City distributes airdrops

Today, Gem City DAO decided that airdrops should be handed out daily to keep the residents' mental state in good shape. Therefore the DAO has allocated 9% of GEMGEM tokens to everyone who has been to Gem City at least once.

We've been actively discussing the upcoming Hop Protocol airdrop for the last few weeks - here, for example, and we finally got it! 

Today the guys have announced Hop DAO. As the tradition of the glorious crypto dogs, they distributed tokens to users. 8% of the total tokens will be allocated to people like us. 

What we had to do to get an airdrop: 

- Make at least two swaps with the volume of $1000 or more.

- Be a liquidity provider

- Be a bonder

- Be an Authereum user

- Be active on social networks

Vitalik "Our Ethereum Hero" Buterin has expressed his opinion on the cost of transactions on L2 networks. He believes that life will be beautiful when a transaction costs no more than $0.05. Oh, Vitalik, good words! 

At the moment, a transaction on the Ethereum network will cost about $3, and a swap will cost $16.

L2 is a bit better: $0.02 on Metis and $0.14 for swap.

In short, Vitalik is asleep and looking forward to lower commissions and has high hopes for proto-dunksharing or EIP-4844.
