Uniswap Labs, a division of understandably DEX, has announced the launch of a destination for venture capital investments in web3 projects.

Uniswap Labs Ventures (ULV) will invest in web3 protocols with agreed values. Former Uniswap chief strategy officer Matteo Leibowitz and Uniswap chief operating officer Mary-Catherine Lader will lead ULV.

The news sparked mixed reactions on Twitter, with many commentators complaining about the drop in Uniswap $UNI token prices. According to CoinGecko, UNI has fallen 70% in the last 12 months, which is about as much as rival PancakeSwap.

The NEAR guys have two announcements! 

First, Binance Labs led the seed round in Sender Wallet, a non-custodial wallet developed specifically for NEAR. Metaweb Ventures also took part. 

Sender plans to improve security by partnering with SlowMist, launching a mobile wallet version, and adding multichain support.
