Screw YouTube; go to Joystream

Hey video maker, want an interesting platform? Joystream is both a blockchain and decentralised video platform. It's based on the $JOY token. Atlas - the analogue of YouTube, where you can upload your videos, turn them into NFT and get some money from the community if they decide to support you.

They also have a "Founding Members program", through which you can get $JOY tokens if you contribute to the platform. Learn more here.

You can find the project itself at this link

The version is early and not yet final, but there are already big combat changes— new items and maps. Monetization is switched off for the time being until the mobile version is released, so everyone is welcome to play by this link.

(SOTHEBY'S CASE)

Fooled by many crypto-punks

This February the auction house Sotheby's wanted to auction off a lot of 104 NFTs. These NFTs were from the Crypto Punks collection and belonged to a certain Twitter-degen 0x650d.

A few minutes before the start of the auction, Mr. 0x650d called off his punks and tweeted, "I cheated your Sotheby's.

Instead of auctioning, Gentlemen 0x650d took out an $8.3 million loan and used his collection of punks as collateral. The loan he took out on the NFTfi site. This is the most expensive example of an NFT owner using his jpegs as collateral.

Dragging Ethereum on its lug at Neon Labs

Ready for the multi-universe? Neon is such a smart contract on Solana, which was developed to launch dApps Ethereum on Solana. In a nutshell: you have a dApp, i.e. some application, on Ethereum. You take it and deploy it to Neon EVM. Then you take the ERC-20/SPL bridge and translate your app's tokens into SPL. Voila!

The guys recently had a devnet, so the attitude is serious.
