Today the Gem City Police broke into the metaverse, home to some of the most dangerous hackers on Earth. The cops were brilliant - they left a massive bag of Gems at the door of the Hackers' metaverse, waited for them to come out - and took them in under their arms. A spokesman for the Gem City Police said that Gem City had again outplayed all the bastards.

Gem Hunter, DODO has announced a crowdpooling event. It starts at 8:15pm Singapore time, which is half an hour from now! 

What did the press release tell us: 

izumi Finance (iZi) will start a Crowdpooling campaign on DODO ETH on Dec.19, at 08:15 PM UTC+8 (Singapore Time). The proceeds will be used to create a liquidity pool for iZi after the Crowdpooling and users will be able to trade iZi with arbitrary ERC-20 tokens on DODO.

Ethereum scaling project Polygon and Seven Seven Six, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian's venture capital firm, have jointly launched a $200 million initiative to invest in Web3 social media and gaming projects.

The funding initiative is denominated in dollars and not in Polygon's MATIC tokens, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal told The Block. It will invest in startups building on Polygon's technology and back their equity as well as token rounds, said Nailwal.
